The hotel has some ups and downs. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the AC was noisy and had a foul odor. The service was decent, with the staff going out of their way but struggling to keep noise down. The location was convenient, only 5 minutes from family homes, but some areas smelled like disinfectant. The dining experience was nice and varied, but they ran out of milk for breakfast. Overall, a mixed experience with room for improvement.
I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Hayward. The rooms were large and clean, offering a nice and restful environment for a good night's sleep. The front desk service on the first floor was efficient and welcoming, making our check-in and out smooth and convenient. The hotel is located in midtown Hayward, which was very helpful for my plans, and the staff arranged a pick-up service to the nearby car rental company. However, the strong disinfectant smell in the area was a bit overpowering at times. On the bright side, the hotel provided a fantastic breakfast and the proximity to the Bay Area was a definite plus.
Staying at the hotel was a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were nice and clean, and having a good size fridge and microwave in the room was convenient. However, staying across from a rental room where a band played on Sunday was a bit noisy. The service was friendly and helpful, although there were some safety concerns about the building. The location was convenient for my plans, although disappointed that the supposedly free wireless service was not actually free. The dining was enjoyable, but running out of milk for breakfast was a downside.
